Good news for Essex residents! The ballot to win FREE tickets to the third Big Weekend, from 6 to 7 April 2019, when hundreds of us will be able to visit some of the county’s finest tourist attractions, is now open. Two tickets per household will be allocated to each winner with some family tickets also available.

Organised by Visit Essex, the Essex Big Weekend was created to encourage us Essex folk to get out and about in the county and help share the Essex love during English Tourism Week. More than 60 experiences include Adventure Island Southend, Colchester Castle and the Lee Valley White Water Centre (all pictured) with other attractions including Audley End House & Gardens, Stow Maries Aerodrome and the Beach Hut at Maldon.

Attractions provide free tickets or experiences for residents to use on 6 and 7 April 2019. As long as you are a resident, you can bid for available tickets to as many attractions as you like from 21 February – 17 March 2019 at Essexbigweekend and the winners will be selected at random.
