Emirates Launch First Stansted-Dubai Route
Another day, another major new long-haul route launches from London Stansted Airport. Today a new announcement from Emirates brings word of a strategic new route to Dubai launching on 8 June 2018 – the first Middle Eastern airline to fly from the Essex hub.
The new route will benefit business travellers to and from the tech and pharma hubs of Cambridge and Peterborough, connecting businesses with Emirates’ global network of over 154 destinations worldwide. The network includes Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Bali and the Indian Ocean islands, key destinations popular with leisure travellers who can stop off and marvel at Dubai's superlative-inducing sights such as the Burj Al Arab (pictured).
The airline’s Boeing 777-300ER will give travellers a choice of six seats in First Class (fully enclosed private suites), 42 in Business Class and 306 in Economy, which have both been upgraded recently.The daily service will depart London Stansted at 9.10pm arriving in Dubai at 7.05 the following day.
